The Heart of Ballet
A discussion with Royal Ballet First Soloist, Valentino Zucchetti, on how our hearts reflect the magic of dance

Claire Berry and Peter Granger (Heartbond), founder members of Awakening Heart Collective, were recently fortunate to work with two principal dancers from London's Royal Ballet as well as Collison Unknown, who explore new and exploratory artistic outcomes. This sparked four ballet research projects studying how hearts respond to dance.

For this festive event, the Awakening Heart Collective are thrilled to welcome Valentino Zucchetti, First Soloist at the Royal Ballet, international choreographer and founder member of Collision Unknown to talk about his work and life in ballet as well as his involvement in Claire and Peter's research.
During the evening Claire and Peter will present the fascinating results of their experiments which show how our hearts open when we experience dance and how this leads to a profound connection between dancers and audience members. There will be time for the audience to ask questions to Valentino, Claire and Peter.

About Valentino
Italian dancer Valentino Zucchetti was born in Calcinate and began training locally at age four. At age 11 he moved to Milan to study at La Scala Ballet School and then at 16 was offered a scholarship to study at The Royal Ballet Upper School. On graduation Valentino joined Zürich Ballet and then moved to Norwegian National Ballet. He joined the Royal Ballet in 2010, was promoted to First Artist in 2011, Soloist in 2012 and First Soloist in 2014.
Valentino continues as First Soloist of The Royal Ballet as well as working as a choreographer and has won many prestigious dance and choroegraphy competitions and awards around the world.

Book Launch
The Heart Sense Journey - Your Heart's Invitation to Deeper Living

Louise Livingstone is soon to introduce to the world her new book, The Heart Sense Journey - Your Heart's Invitation to Deeper Living. During this launch event you will learn about the contents of the book and the path Louise has been travelling leading her to write it. This will be an evening of celebration and joy with an opportunity to ask Louise questions.

About the book:
The Heart Sense Journey offers the possibility for you to engage deeply with your heart and its many different aspects. In this book you will meet five different hearts and learn to connect with their wisdom, supporting you to revisit and transform out-dated and taken-for-granted assumptions of the heart. As you move beyond limiting frameworks of knowing and open to your heart’s depths, you will be guided to co-create the world of your heart’s vision, curating conditions for personal and planetary transformation.

Big Heart Conference
BIGHEART 2023 was the first UK online event to bring together a group of experts on transformation and the heart. Throughout the one-day event the 4 main speakers outlined, each from their own perspective, how connectedness is key as we transition into a new world, and how the heart is fundamental in establishing these connections and revealing our true power. The event was very popular and stimulated lots of wonderful connections and discussion. Video recordings of the speaker's talks are now available to view on the Awakening Heart Collective YouTube channel.
A Celebration of Love
On St Valentine's Day Eve, 13th February 2025, we held an online event celebrating love in its widest form, not just romantic. Included in the evening were a selection of speakers offering their thoughts on love, a breakout session allowing participants to share in smaller groups and a beautiful heart meditation led by Rev Padma Devi Sumananda from the Heart of Living Yoga organisation. Heart Revolution Special Screening
The Heart Revolution is a beautiful film exploring the deeper aspects of the heart, described by the team behind it as a 'poetic documentary to help you and humanity flourish'. Not due for public release until summer 2025, we hosted a special early screening followed by a discussion of the film's themes with its producer, Benedikt Just.
